Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai MMA fighter from Peru as well as a mixed martial artist who is who is a part of UFC. UFC at the flyweight division,. She is in Kyrgyzstani. She is the younger sister of the former UFC Flyweight champion as well as fellow UFC competitor Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her career as an Muay Thai kickboxer. She made her debut in 2003 during the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner of the competition and defeated Suzane Milliner with a unanimous verdict. Antonina won a medal of silver in 2007 followed by she also won a bronze medal in 2008 and a medal gold in the year 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA World Amateur Muaythai Champion 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia's professional career began in 2003. She won in 2012 her the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship In 2016, she won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016, the WMC World Championships. Antonina took on Isa Tidblad Kskikangas in the final round of Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by a unanimity. Antonina Schevchenko started the professional phase of her MMA professional career back in the year 2002 with a win over Anara Baanova at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She won this fight with a TKO at the end of round two and her subsequent 2 matches were held in WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko took a hiatus to pursue the sport of kickboxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui at Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko won Anissa Haddaoui in a unanimous decision. She then beat Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4 in a unanimous decision. She was a part of the Dana White Contender Series 2018 after leaving the promotion. Shevchenko was able to take on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina TKO'd Nievera with her striking skills that were superior in the final clinch with knees placed on her body. Antonina Shevchenko received the UFC contract after the victory. Antonina made her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale with Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was victorious in the unanimous victory, however she lost her second fight to Roxanne Modafferi on an undisputed split decision. Antonina bounced right back after the defeat and beat Lucie Pudddilova at UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submissions in the 2nd round. This fight earned Antonina the Bonus Fight of the Night. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner in her next 3-fights, defeating Ariane Lipski, and then losing to Katlyn Chookagian as well as Andrea Lee. Then, Antonina lost to Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos vs. Walker via second-round TKO.
